Scalp micropigmentation AFTERCARE
SHAVED HEAD
It is the Client's responsibility to care for and heal the treatment area for the best possible results. Failure to follow instructions could result in a poorly healed procedure or other complications such as infection and/or irritation.
Day 1-3:
- No water on the head (for 3 days)
- No sweating or working out ( for 3 days)
- No soap, shampoo, conditioner or lotion (other than alcohol free moisturizer provided by or recommended by artist-can moisturizer after 24 hours)
- No washing of the scalp
- No touching or scratching
- You can wear a hat after 24 hours
Day 4-7:
- You may use warm WATER to rinse your head (no soap), pat scalp dry
- You may sweat lightly (pat scalp lightly to prevent sweat from pooling)
- You may work out lightly
- Day 5: You may shave head again if desired
Day 8-10:
- You may use gentle soap and water to wash your head as normal
- You may work out as normal
- You may sweat as normal
After day 10, and when your scalp is healed completely, continue to protect your scalp from direct sunlight by wearing a hat and/or applying sunscreen.
DENSITY TREATMENTS

Day 4-7:
- You may rinse your hair with warm water and/or a gentle, mild soap. Please wash only the hair itself, avoid scrubbing the scalp with fingers. Once finished, gently blow-dry your hair on a cool setting.
- You may sweat lightly
- You may work out lightly
Day 8-10:
- You may use shampoo and water to wash your head as normal
- You may work out as normal
- You may sweat as normal
After day 10, and when your scalp is healed completely, continue to protect your scalp from direct sunlight by wearing a hat and/or applying sunscreen.
